Maxtor Hard Drive Data Recovery Emails

Maxtor Personal Storage 3200 External Hard Drive
I have a Maxtor personal storage 3200 external hard drive for over a year now and I have been using it with utmost ease. It has 160 GB capacity where I back up files that I need to carry around wherever I go. Since my job allows me to be on the move, I have two machines that I commonly use – a personal computer in my home office and a handy notebook when I am working outdoors. I use the Maxtor hard drive on both machines but more often on the note since I am almost always outside. Now when I put in the cable that connects the hard drive to any of my machines, it is not recognised by both. I tried using a different cable but still nothing happens. When plugged in, the hard drive’s green light turns on as expected and I don’t hear any noise inside the drive.

Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini 160 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive
My Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini external hard drive has been intermittently getting detected by my computer. Most of the time my computer pops the error saying “USB Device not Recognised, one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognise it”. I tried unplugging and plugging it on my computer but usually the same thing just happens. I also tried rebooting sometimes it just ends up the same way. I also tried it on a different computer but still the same thing just happens and the hard drive remains undetected. I am quite disappointed that this hard drive is unreliable since I have kept important files in it. I am really desperate to retrieve the files.
