Recover The Data From Your HP Desktop PC

HP WORKSTATION XW4600:

I have an HP Workstation XW4600 which is causing me some problems. Essentially, the problem is that I can download and install software, and I can use it initially and it all seems fine, but the next day when I come to restart the computer, all of the newly installed software programs have vanished and as a result I cannot access my work data files. I can’t find them on My Computer, not even when I go into Device Manager and start searching. They just seem to have completely gone. This is a serious problem because I have been trying to install the new anti-virus software, which wants me to download it every time and then reboot the computer. It is also a problem because I used to use writing software packages. Without the software, the data files that I have are unreadable, but I can’t download the programs onto this computer because the packages cost around £200 a time.

HP WORKSTATION XW4600:

I have been using an HP Workstation XW4600, and I am having some problems learning how to use the data saving software on Linux. I have never used a Linux system before, and have no idea how to manage it. The OS was installed onto the computer by my boss, who wants everyone to work from the same worksheets. I have used an Amstrad before, many years ago, and the writing pages seem very similar, but I am having a very specific problem with the data that I have saved so far onto the computer. These data files have been saved according to the boss’s work schedule, and they all go into the server each night. However, the IT guys have said to me that my data is not backing up, as it should, and is not found by the computer when it is trying to do the backup. I can see the data myself, but I can’t open it.
