Fujitsu Lifebook, Amilo or Stylistic that won't boot, or a failed drive full of your files? We recover the data from Fujitsu laptops — and Esprimo desktops — by working on the drive itself, in a professional lab.
Free diagnostic on every Fujitsu job. One fixed quote in writing before any work — a single drive or SSD recovery is £300 + VAT, no fix no fee on logical recoveries.
From an ageing Lifebook that won't boot to a spilled drink on the keyboard — these are the faults we see most.
A Fujitsu Lifebook that powers on but won't start Windows usually has a corrupt system or a failing drive, not lost files. The documents and photos are normally intact and recovered by reading the drive on the bench.
Older Lifebook and Amilo laptops run 2.5-inch hard drives that click, stall or disappear as they age. A mechanical fault is repaired with donor parts in the clean-air lab.
Newer Lifebook models use SATA or NVMe SSDs that can drop offline through controller or firmware faults. We recover them at controller and firmware level, not with consumer software.
A spill into the keyboard reaches the board and the drive connector. The storage usually survives if corrosion is stopped early — power it off and send it in quickly.
A knock while the laptop is running can crash a hard drive's heads. Power it off and don't keep restarting it — each attempt risks scoring the platters.
A failed Windows update or corrupt file system stops the laptop booting while your files sit untouched underneath. We rebuild the file system from an image and extract your data.
We recover data from across the Fujitsu range: Lifebook laptops (including the E, A, S, U and T Series), the older Amilo laptops, Stylistic tablets and 2-in-1s where the storage can be removed, and Esprimo desktop PCs. Because recovery is done from the drive, the age or condition of the laptop itself rarely matters.
Recovery is carried out on the storage device, not the laptop. Remove the hard drive or SSD from the Fujitsu — usually a few screws behind a service hatch — and send us just the drive. We image it with hardware imagers, repairing any mechanical or electronic fault in the clean-air lab first, then rebuild the file system and extract your files. If you're not comfortable removing the drive, any local PC shop can do it for a small fee, or call us and we'll talk you through it.
Send the drive, not the whole machine — we don't provide an internal drive-removal service. We also don't recover storage soldered to a motherboard: a few very thin modern laptops and tablets fix the flash memory directly to the board, and that can't be removed and sent to us. We don't recover phones or tablets either. If you're unsure whether your Fujitsu's drive can be removed, call us on the freephone before sending anything. See our laptop recovery and SSD recovery pages, and typical data recovery costs.

Most customers post or courier their media to us.
Sending a drive from a computer, laptop, MacBook, iMac, CCTV / DVR or server? Please remove the internal hard drive or SSD and send us just the drive — we don't provide an internal drive-removal service. We don't recover storage soldered to a motherboard (e.g. Apple Silicon Macs and some thin laptops) — only drives that can be removed and sent to us.
